How it works
Add your episode: upload a video or audio file, or paste a YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo link to a video you own, or a podcast link from Apple Podcasts, Podbean, Buzzsprout or an RSS feed. Cheap Clipping transcribes it and suggests clips within a few minutes.
Open any clip to trim it on the transcript, restyle the captions, fix misheard words, and pick the format. You can also highlight any part of the transcript to make a clip of your own. Then download, or share straight to your phone.
Why it can be this cheap
For uploads, the heavy video work happens in your browser rather than on expensive servers, and only the audio is sent to be transcribed. That keeps our costs low, which is why there's a real free plan and paid plans start at $5.
